Episode 4 of season 11 of NBC’s Chicago PD had far more driving scenes than could have possibly fit into their 7-day schedule. SMASH was utilized to solve this problem, allowing them to shoot a full car chase and two lengthy driving scenes in about 8 hours.

SMASH rigged a stunt car with a 9-camera array to capture driving plates with as they shot the car exteriors, allowing the actors to be perfectly safe and comfortable on stage.
